Smaller Volume Bags?

Hello,

I work at a children's hospital and I think this product could be great way for us to crush hazardous medications. One of my concerns is the volume needed to effectively rinse the bag. Some of our smaller patients cannot tolerate 20 mL orally, let alone 40-100 mL to effectively get the drug out of the bag. Are there any plans to create a smaller bag that would require less volume for the drug to dissolve?

Smaller volume pouches are now available. On the web site Store page see Item PP08. It’s designed like the larger PP06 pouch, with ENFit nozzle but smaller and has proven to be useful for patients who are liquid sensitive. Pills can be crushed in the smaller pouch using as little as 1ml of liquid.
