Hazardous Drug Preparation with RxCrush system

"Is this device approved for hazardous medication administration?"

RxCrush was designed to increase safety while manipulating hazardous and other medications. Using RxCrush pouches creates a "contained" system keeping medication dust and liquid under control while crushing and administering medications. Prudent precautions need to be used like PPE, controlled negative atmosphere room or hood etc., while handling Hazardous Medications.
Follow the instruction steps listed in the "How to Use" section of the  RxCrush.com web site and or the product IFU we can send to you.  Instructions should be followed carefully to maximize the containment RxCrush was designed to provide.
So, RxCrush is not approved by any organization other than our registration with the FDA as a Level 1 Medical Device.  We also have CE Mark and are listed with EUAMED, as a Class 1 medical device.
RxCrush is not a CSTD or Controlled System Transfer Device and does not  contain aerosols from hazardous medications after the syringe is detached from the RxCrush Pill Pouches.
