Users are successfully crushing 5 to 8 pills at a time in the pouches. More pills will require more flushing cycles. Flushing the contents of the pouch is achieved by filling the syringe with liquid, injecting into the pouch, shaking and removing contents multiple times until all dissolved medication is captured.
Hello, I work at a children's hospital and I think this product could be great way for us to crush hazardous medications. One of my concerns is the volume needed to effectively rinse the bag. Some of our smaller patients cannot tolerate 20 mL orally, let alone 40-100 mL to effectively get the drug out of the bag. Are there any plans to create a smaller bag that would require less volume for the drug to dissolve?
