​Pills in an RxCrush pill pouch are first crushed and then ground by the roller. Pill dust is then ready to be dissolved in liquid.

Pills are contained in the durable RxCrush pill pouch during pulverization by a zip-closure on one end and an attached ENFit syringe on the other. (Adapters are available for other syringe connection types.)

Liquid from the syringe is added to the crushed medication in the pill pouch. The mixture is shaken and once dissolved, administered directly to a feeding tube via the syringe.

Haven't transitioned to ENFit yet? We have Luer, Oral and Catheter/Bolus adapters available so you can use RxCrush Pill Pouches with your existing syringes and feeding sets.
